Create Smartlist Favorite

Save Smartlist Favorite

We can use the search button in ANY Smartlist to search for something specific. For example if you wanted all tickets for a specific branch/site. Or perhaps all tickets for a specific commodity. In my example I have filtered by a specific customer and I want to save this Search as another Smartlist. This way I don’t have to enter the same information each time I search.

Once you have filtered the search and clicked ok, your SmartList will run with filtered results

Click on Favorites

Enter a Name for your SmartList Favorite- it will appear under the Smartlist Folder.

Select who is allowed to see this favorite in the Visible To field.

You can also Password Protect the Favorite Smartlist.

Remove will delete the Smartlist Favorite (its greyed out because I have not created it yet)

Modify acts as a save button for making changes in this window, such as changing the name.

Click on Add>>Add Favorite. The Smartlist Favorite is now saved.

If you click Add Favorite and Reminder, it will also put a reminder in GP to remind you of the SmartList based on criteria entered.

 

 

If you want to modify the name, who its visible to, or the password..

Select the SmartList, ensure its filtered properly correctly using the search, then click Favorites

Make Changes as necessary:

Click Modify to save the SmartList Favorite

 

Clicking Remove will delete the SmartList Favorite
