How to Set Up Auto-Pit Router

What is Auto-Pit Router?

OneWeigh’s ability to trigger pit calculation after receiving automated grades.

Benefits of Auto-Pit Router:

Eliminate the need for operator input to trigger Pit Router calculation.
Ensure that Pit Router calculation is triggered automatically, after all relevant grades have been received.

Here’s how to set it up(If using chalkboard for pit #/assignment):

Select “Processing Options 1” tab > Check/Toggle on “Use Auto-Pit Router” button

Select “Router Setup” button > Select Add(this will prompt you to setup a line for a specific commodity, and will allow you to tell oneWeigh which pit the commodity needs to go to).
Be sure to input a pit number for the specific commodity > Click Save > Close > Save.
**A discount or grade is required in the configuration, but auto-pit router will still work if there is not a min/max input.**

Here’s how to set it up(If using remark field for pit#/assignment):

Go to ONE > Setup Information > Workstation Information
Select “Processing Options 1” tab > Check/Toggle on “Use Auto-Pit Router” button
Verify which remark # is being used for pit # and input it into the “Pit Remark #” (Blank = Use Pit Number field) option.
Select “Router Setup” > Add/Edit a line > Select the remark for the appropriate pit by clicking the ellipses(…).
Click Save > Close > Save.
