Subitem Search - Display Subitems in a Grid (AGS-4580)

Benefit:

  • Reduce time and effort to see information and select the applicable subitem.

Details:

  • Sub-item search/selection has been enhanced to include a grid view of available sub-items, based on filter criteria.  

  • Users will have the option to use the single sub-item view, existing functionality, or the new grid view.  

  • Users will be able to display available sub-items in a grid and select a sub-item to use from the grid.

  • Users will be able to clear single and grid view search criteria, sub-item code and specifications, with a single button click.



Navigation - Example Usage:

Stock Transfer: INV > Stock Transfer > Specification Entry Form

  1. Add Clear All and Grid View buttons to sub-item filter/data input form.

  2. Clear All

    1. Clears sub-item code and specification input fields eliminating the need for the user to manually clear each input field.  In the screenshot below, there is a single sub-item code, Lot Number.  If the inventory system is configured to have two sub-item codes, Clear All function will also clear the second sub-item code.

    2. Clear All does not clear the Active Status input field.

  3. Grid View

    1. Grid View displays a grid listing sub-items that match sub-item code and specification filter input values.

    2. A blank Active Status value displays both active, "Y", and inactive, "N", sub-items.

    3. Sub-item 1 and 2 value filtering starts with both single and grid views.

    4. Specification value filtering is starts with and case insensitive comparison for both single and grid views.

    5. Selecting a sub-item grid line will return back to the sub-item selection confirmation form with input fields set to selected sub-item values.
