Reduce time and effort to secure/hide customer contact information.

Description

Now, you have the ability to secure/hide a customer contact information field for any NameId.

Setup

Step 1: Let's set up appropriate user security level(s) for all of your Secured contact information. The security level that you set up, will reflect all contact types that will be under the S-Secured Information Category.

In AGRIS, go to Customize → System Security → Select user(s) → Select Option #4 → Locate the following security option:

VIEW/EDIT NAME ID

SECURED CONTACT INFORMATION

Select (0-6)

User Level Explination
Level 6 - allows access to SECURED CONTACT INFORMATION (SCI hereafter) can add/edit/delete SCI contact info.
Level 5 - can add/edit SCI contact info.
Level 4 - can only add SCI contact info.
Level 3 - can only add SCI contact info.
Level 2 - can only add/view SCI contact info.
Level 1 - can only view SCI contact info.
Level 0 - has no access to SCI contact info.

 

Step 2: Now we need to select a contact type that will have a NEW category S-Secured Information.

In AGRIS, go to NAM → Setup Information → Contact/Remark Types

Select a contact type that you would like to secure

For contact category, select option S - Secured Information. This will ensure that the selected type will be secured based on the setup security level.

Usage

1.

In AGRIS, go to NAM → Name Address Maintenance → View/Edit Name Id → Select a Name ID → Select Contact Information and click OK.

Here you will see all contact types with specific contact information. Depending on your security level you might be able to view/edit/delete the contact information data.
