Item Maintenance - Ability to update all locations when a change is made to the item in one location (AGS-7767)

Benefits:

  • Reduce time and effort to update inventory items across all locations

  • Maximize the accuracy of inventory item information across all locations.

Details:

  • Inventory Item Maintenance now allows users to copy inventory item edits to other locations.

  • User's ability to copy item edits is controlled by new Item Maintenance - Copy Item Edits security option.

  • User will receive a prompt to copy item edits after updating current location and when user has access rights to other locations where inventory item exists.

  • User is able to specify which additional locations are to be updated.

  • Inventory Item data available to copy:

a) General Information
b) Pricing Information, excluding price schedules and extended pricing
c) Balance Reorder Point, Reorder Units, Overstock Point, and Market Cost data elements
d) Item Remarks
