Repricing Inventory Using the Extended Options

Overview

Use this procedure to reprice your inventory using the extended price update. The Extended Price Update is used to update either Selling Price 1 or Selling Price 2, or both selling price fields. Extended Pricing is the suggest method of maintaining selling prices at various remote sites or at a single site. For example, a central site may maintain the pricing file and transmit it to remote sites for a tightly controlled update of the two selling price fields. Timing of price changes can be regulated through this option. At some pre-determined time, the remote sites may complete the update of the two price level fields. The central site may also control the actual update of these two price fields by limiting access to the Inventory Pricing Menu through System Security.
