Energy Force - import Consumption Billing Transactions (AGS-7905)

Benefits:

• Reduce time and effort to transfer and invoice consumption billing transactions.

• Improve accuracy of the transfer and invoice.

Summary:

These changes provide the ability to maintain inventory balance of all non-invoiced deferred/consumption deliveries in a separate AGRIS Inventory Location Code.  A transfer IN to the deferred/consumption location will import for each delivery and each billing invoice will relieve the deferred/consumption location.

Navigation to Use: CFT > File Translations > Energy Force

1. Define the Delivery Billing Code on page 18 of the Energy Force configuration file.

2. Define the Invoice Billing Code on page 19 of the Energy Force configuration file.

3. Define the Inventory Location for maintaining the deferred/consumption billing inventory balance on page 19 of the Energy Force configuration file.

   2. If this location is set then deferred/consumption delivery transactions will transfer the quantity into this location, and deferred/consumption billing transactions will relieve the inventory from this location.

Clear Files

1. The value in field 32, Interface Billing Code, that matches the delivery/invoice billing codes defined in the cft file will indicate the type of deferred/consumption billing transaction.

Processing

1. For Charge transactions (Field 31-Transaction Code = 13/14)
   
   

   1. If the Deferred/Consumption Inventory Location is set up then an additional transfer will be made into the deferred/consumption inventory location for the delivery and the invoice will relieve the deferred/consumption inventory location.

2. For Meter Billed transactions (Field 31-Transaction Code = 17)

   1. If the Deferred/Consumption Inventory Location is NOT set up then a transfer will be created moving product back into inventory.

   2. If the Deferred/Consumption Inventory Location IS set up then the inventory location on the invoice line item will be the Deferred/Consumption Inventory Location.
