How to change your AGRIS dataset id

If your business has adjusted AGRIS in a way that the dataset needs to be changed in AIS the following steps will aid you with this task.

To integrate with AIS it requires a Unique ID number for the AGRIS dataset you plan to interface to.  

Step-by-step guide

  1. Log into AGRIS by selecting the dataset you plan to hook to AIS. 

  2. Select Help>About Agris from the menu options. 

  3. On the About AGRIS screen that appears Select "Yes" to print system information. 

  4. Now print to option "4 - Preview" and review the output. 

    1. You will find the dataset unique ID very close to the top of the information. 

  5. Once you have copied that number open AIS and navigate to Cross Reference> Agsync Cross Reference> AGRIS Cross Reference

  6. Now Select Edit and update the Dataset UNIQUE ID to the new number. 

 

NOTICE:  Please be Patient!  This process may take a few minutes based on the data that is being updated to globlaly change all data to reference the new dataset id.
