Why should my company load Software Update 5?
Limited early access to new dashboard functions that will be later available in the 21.2.0 release ( September 2021)

Dashboard Widgets View important status updates and balances on your dashboard without having to run reports. The AGRIS widgets automatically refresh once or many times per day to display the most accurate data for you.
Dashboard Report Favorites Quickly reference and access your favorite reports right from the dashboard. No need for extra navigation to review favorite reports.
Early Access Please let us know if your company would like to gain early access and participate in providing feedback. There are still a few spots available to gain Early Access to the AGRIS Dashboards! Download the 21.1 SU-5 update!

Requirements for this Software Update
Learn how to install this Software Update
# | Description | |

1. | Download and save the Software Update file to your desktop. | |
2. | Unblock the Software Update file (Installer) by doing the following | |
Locate V211SP00_5.zip and right-click on the file, then click Properties. | ||
In Properties, at the bottom, click Unblock and then click OK.  | ||
3. | If the Unblock button is not there, click Cancel and do the following | |
4. | Right-click on the V211SP00_5.zip file and click Extract All then extract using the default settings (By default it will extract to a V211SP00_5 folder on your desktop and open the folder) | |
5. | Right-click the Setup.exe (the one with the beside it) and click Run as administrator | |
6. | On the message "Apply Software Update id ***** to AGRIS **.*.*?", click OK.  | |
7. | On the message "Software Update id ***** for **.*.* has been applied successfully.", click OK. If there is an error, please see Potential Solutions below or contact support. | |
8. | Close the open folder window | |
9. | Restart the computer | |
10. | The installation process is complete for this machine. Repeat this installation procedure on every machine where AGRIS is installed | |
Potential Solutions
Depending on your system configuration or security permissions, you might encounter problems when installing a Software Update. If this occurs, please try any of the following steps to try and fix the issue:

1. | Restart the computer and attempt the installation again. |
2. | Restart the computer and login as the Domain Administrator and attempt the installation again. |
3. | If you were performing the install through a Remote Desktop Connection, logout of the connection and connect again by running mstsc.exe -admin instead and then try running the installation again. |
4. | If the problem persists, sometimes a reinstall of the AGRIS software may be required. This can be accomplished through Control Panel > Programs and Features by taking the option to Uninstall AGRIS and selecting the option to Reinstall. When the Reinstall has completed attempt the installation of the Software Update again. |

The Software Update installation log
The Software Update installation creates a log file that contains information about the files that were installed in this Software Update. To review this file, follow these steps:
Go to Start - Run
Type this: %ProgramFiles(x86)%\AGRIS\TEMP\AGRISSU.Log
Click OK to view the file.
Note: If this generates an error, type this instead: %ProgramFiles%\AGRIS\TEMP\AGRISSU.Log
