Security - AGRIS Security Levels 1-6

Explanation of Levels 1-6



 AGRIS > Customize > System Security > Select User > 4) Edit Security Level
Select option.

Security Level

Security Level Description

Unique Ability

0

No Access Allowed

The menu option will be grayed out to the user. 
They cannot select that option.

1

View Ability Only

The user has the ability to view the records.
They cannot make changes or add new records.
The user will still be able to run reports.

2

Plus Ability to Add

The user has the ability to view & add records.
They cannot make changes to existing records.
They can add reports but not edit existing reports.

Plus Ability to Process

The user has the ability to view & add & process records. Processing would be aging-finance charges-cost adjustment-automatic settlements-automatic disbursements. Processing is any menu option in AGRIS that creates or updates multiple records, based on parameter settings.
The user can now process report streams & add reports

Plus Ability to Reverse

The user has the ability to view & add & process & void records.  
The void process will mark the record as Voided & all history will remain.
They cannot make changes to existing records.
The user can process report streams & add reports.

Plus Ability to Edit

The user has the ability to view & add & process & void & change existing records.
This means changing G/L codes on voucher/invoices or editing storage dates on delivery sheets.
The user may now edit existing report via Report Writer.

Plus Ability to Delete

The user has the ability to view & add & process & void & edit & completely remove records from database.
A void record still shows in the system a deleted record is wiped out, as if it never existed.
They user may now edit & delete reports & streams.
