AttachToo - Archive or hide an attachment (AGS-1350)
Benefits:
Simplify the process of cleaning up an attachment accidentally associated with a transaction.
Improve clarity of the correct attachments relating to a transaction.
Assure complete audit trail of all attachments.
Maximize the ability to comply with record retention policies.
Details:
Users who have sufficient security rights will be able to archive or hide an attachment so that it does not by default appear in display grid or reports.
Navigation - Setup:
System Security: Customize > System Security > Select User > Option 5 - AttachToo Security Levels
Security is governed by existing document sub-type security set in System Security maintenance.
Navigation - Usage:
Document Storage - Active Attachment Grid Display
Deleted and Show Deleted buttons added to form.
Delete Button: Set Attachment Status to Delete (D)
Highlight grid line and click Delete button
Enter required delete reason and click the Yes button. Grid is refreshed and does not include deleted attachment.
Note: Attachment is not permanently removed. Its status is set to "D".
Show Deleted: Reloads grid with attachments whose status is set to "D".
Document Storage - Delete Confirmation
Form displays attachment name and document sub-type.
Delete confirmation requires user to enter a delete reason.
Delete reason is written in the attachment note and is attached to existing notes. Delete reason note format is "DELETED[delete reason text]".
Document Storage - Deleted Attachment Grid Display
Only Show Active and Back buttons are enabled.
You may view all attachment notes by hovering the cursor above the attachment line's Notes grid cell.
Show Active: Reloads grid with attachments whose status is set to "A".
