WHAT ARE THE HIGHLIGHTS?

Regulatory changes including 1099 and W-2 electronic file submission changes and 2017 U.S. Federal Income, Social Security, and Medicare Tax Withholding Table updates.
Support of new underlying technologies including a new server operating system and new database engines.
Improvements in AgroGuide mapping and blender integrations, Commodity, oneWeigh scale automation and System.

WHAT ARE SOME OF THE NEW FEATURES AND BENEFITS?

Accounts Payable (ACP)	2016 changes for 1099-DIV, INT, MISC and PATR standard forms and electronic filing	Updated 1099-DIV, INT, MISC and PATR standard forms for accurate 2016 tax year regulatory reporting.
AgroGuide (AGY)	Maps - Option to use of Google maps (early access / beta release)	Save administrative time to manage background Ortho imagery and TIGER maps as Google tiles automatically cache to the server. Improve accuracy of map information with more timely updates and standard positioning of road names.
AgroGuide (AGY)	Kahler Blender Integration* - Support adding items at the blender	Reduce effort to accurately capture what happened at the blender, expand coverage for variable rate applications and product substitutions at the blender.
Custom File Translation (CFT)	AgSync CFT* - Automatic Stream processing enabled	AgSync integration with Agronomy Integration Service* (AIS) has never been easier. This improvement automates the communication between AGRIS and the AIS to ensure work orders and blend confirmations pass quickly and easily between systems.
Commodity (GRN)	Settlements - Produce A Settlement: Home button after the print process is complete	Minimize time and effort to move on to other tasks.
oneWeigh (ONE)	Usability and communication improvements, including better binSight integration	Simplify and improve efficiency of scale operations. Reduce effort to comply with the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA).
Patronage (PAT)	1099 reporting - calculate and populate 1099-PATR Section 199 deduction information without requiring an import (for box 3) using either the Gross or Net amount method.	Minimize time to calculate the no pass through section 199 domestic credit for reporting in box 3 per unit retains portion of the 1099-PATR information returns. Reduce the chance of errors that might occur doing an export / calculation / import of the credit. Increase customer / member satisfaction level by reducing the number of patron calls concerning how the credit was calculated and for what quantities.
Payroll (PAY)	2016 changes for W-2 standard forms and electronic filing	For easy regulatory reporting for the 2016 tax year, this release contains an updated W-2 graphic form and introduces a two per page graphic W-2 form in addition to the standard one per page form.
Payroll (PAY)	2017 Federal Tax Withholding Tables	The changes are made available from the Payroll FTP site or within this service pack release.
System (SYS)	Support of the latest database engines from both Actian and Microsoft	Increase flexibility to run the system on the latest Actian database engine. Increase flexibility to run AGRIS and AgroGuide on the latest Microsoft database engine. Click HERE for information about the features and benefits of the Microsoft SQL Server 2016 database engine.
System (SYS)	Support the Microsoft Windows Server 2016 operating system	Increase your options for deploying and running the system. Click HERE for a matrix of supported operating systems and database engines.

Testing and support of the AGRIS system on the PSQL v11 database engine ended July 1, 2016. Support of the AGRIS Product Suite running on Windows Server 2003, Windows XP and PSQL v10 ended on July 14, 2015. Maintenance and support for AGRIS V9.6.0 ended December 31, 2016.
The next AGRIS release is scheduled for mid-April, 2017.
