Chapter 5_CINCH 18.56 Other XML Exports

This chapter describes miscellaneous enhancements made to XML Exports. (CIN-6381)
This chapter contains the following sections:

Changes to Export Criteria Entry
Three changes/updates have been made to the Export Criteria Entry window. First, all exports can now be set up to run automatically. Second, AgriMine Customer and AgriMine Sales can now exclude internal customers. Third, a new export called AgriMine Inventory has been added.

  1. Open Export Criteria Entry window

(Cards>>CINCH Sales>> XML – Export Ref>>Export Criteria Entry)

  1. Export Type dropdown now includes an export type of AgriMine Inventory.

    1. This export type when used will display item quantity information.

    2. Exported file contains the following details:

      1. Sender and Owner ID will be blank. If Company Xref is set then it will be displayed.

      2. Location ID uses Xref of Site ID. It is a required field. If not set export will fail.

      3. As of Date = Date of Export.

      4. Inventory Type = defaults to 'O'

      5. Product Code = Item Number

      6. Product Description = Item Description

      7. Unit of Measure = Base UofM

      8. Packsize = Defined in Item Extension and it is optional.

      9. Quantity = On hand - Allocated = Available

  2. Cross References used with the AgriMine Inventory export are:

    1. Company is used, if defined, as the Sender/Owner ID within the export.

    2. Site is required and is used as the Location ID within the export. If it is not defined, the export fails.

  3. Restrictions available for the AgriMine Inventory export are:

  4. Item Class

  5. Item

  6. Site

  7. Exclude: Internal Customer is only available for AgriMine Customer and AgriMine Sales Export Types.

    1. Unchecked, all customers will be included in the export.

    2. Checked, customers that are set up as internal customers within the Customer Extensions Maintenance window will be excluded from the export.

  8. Auto Export is available for all Export Types.

  9. Checked, the export type will automatically process and export all transactions when the first user logs into GP each day.

  10. Export types with no errors will be exported successfully. A successful notification will be placed within GP's Task List.

  11. Export types that produce errors will fail and a notification will be placed in GP's Task List.

  12. GP's Task List

    1. Displays the details of the exports which have succeeded (Auto Export Process Status: Date/Time Export Name) and/or failed (*Failed: Export ID). Users will have to manually re-export failed exports after correcting the error(s).

    2. Task status by default will be Pending and is assigned to <Any User> meaning it can be viewed by all users.

  13. Unchecked, the export type must be manually processed. (Default)

Changes to Item Extensions Maintenance
A new field called AgriMine Pack Size has been added to the window.

  1. Open Export Criteria Entry window

(Cards>>Inventory>>Item>>Additional>>Item Extensions)

  1. AgriMine Pack Size is used to define the package size of an item and is currently only used for the AgriMine Inventory XML Export.
