Introduction to CINCH 12.2

What's New is your guide to enhancements in CINCH Software.

We add enhancements based on feedback we receive from customers, as well as on market research. Your willingness to help us build better products makes this a more complete solution, putting you in a better position to manage your organization successfully. We encourage you to share your thoughts and reactions with us at any time.

Some enhancements described in this documentation are optional and can be purchased through your CINCH software sales representative. If you currently have a license for one of these modules and have an active enhancement program, you will automatically receive the enhancements contained in that module.

This document describes enhancements that were added to CINCH Software since General Release 12.1.

Descriptions of the enhancements are divided into the following chapters:

Chapter 1, "Barge Trade Transactions," describes the Barge Trade Transaction feature.
Chapter 2, "Cinch Document Exchange," describes the additional and miscellaneous modifications made to Cinch Document Exchange.
Chapter 3, "Grain Miscellaneous," describes miscellaneous enhancements to CINCH Grain processes.
Chapter 4, "Grain Sales Advance," describes how to use the Grain Sales Advance feature which allows the seller to calculate and send advance payment requests, based on unit train shipments, to the buyer.
Chapter 5, "In Transit Direct Ship," describes changes made to the In Transit Direct Ship transactions.
Chapter 6, "Limited User," describes miscellaneous enhancements made to support the Limited User Type.
Chapter 7, "Multicurrency Phase II," describes Phase II of Multicurrency.
Chapter 8, "Ship Destination Weights and Grades," describes changes made to Grain Sales to handle weights and grades to govern values separately.
Chapter 9, "Text Tickets," describes miscellaneous enhancements made to support sending text messages for Inbound Scale Tickets.
