CINCH Customer Documentation

Introduction to CINCH 12.0

What's New is your guide to enhancements in CINCH Software.
We add enhancements based on feedback we receive from customers, as well as on market research. Your willingness to help us build better products makes this a more complete solution, putting you in a better position to manage your organization successfully. We encourage you to share your thoughts and reactions with us at any time.
Some enhancements described in this documentation are optional and can be purchased through your CINCH software sales representative. If you currently have a license for one of these modules and have an active enhancement program, you will automatically receive the enhancements contained in that module.
This document describes enhancements that were added to CINCH Software since General Release 11.4.
Descriptions of the enhancements are divided into the following chapters:
Chapter 1, "Bookings Release," describes enhancements made to the Bookings window to allow the user to release a booking directly to Counter Sales. Counter Sales Entry includes a "Bookings Exist" indicator. The indicator can be used to remind the user to check for bookings before completing the transaction for the customer.
Chapter 2, "Cinch Document Exchange," describes the additional and miscellaneous modifications made to Cinch Document Exchange.
Chapter 3, "Collar Prices and Replants," describes miscellaneous enhancements made for Collar Prices and Replants.
Chapter 4, "Drop Ship," describes enhancements made to support a more streamlined Drop Ship process where the user links the sales documents to a drop ship purchase order thereby bypassing the inventory system and using the cost of the purchase order on the sales transaction.
Chapter 5, "Extended Pricing," describes enhancements made to call Dynamics GP Extended Pricing instead of the Cinch Modified Dynamics GP standard pricing.
Chapter 6, "Fertilizer Invoicing Integration," describes the miscellaneous modifications made for the Fertilizer Invoicing Integration.
Chapter 7, "Fertilizer Receiving," describes enhancements made to Cinch to allow Drop Ship Purchase Loads to be associated to Bulk Tickets allowing Inventory to be updated.
Chapter 8, "GL Trans Origination," describes changes made to inventory posting process to populate additional fields within the database.
Chapter 9, "Greenbook Integration," describes enhancements made to integrate with Greenbook to assist in keeping regulatory information up to date.
Chapter 10, "Internal Order," describes enhancements made to assist in processing shipments to an internal branch via a branch transfer. This will allow users to process both customer and internal orders in the same manner, however when the shipment is finalized (i.e. fulfilled), the system will automatically create branch transfers for internal orders.
Chapter 11, "Reporting Cost Adjustments," describes enhancements made to assist in calculating rebate accrual amounts and to more accurately report net sales margin (item by item) by tracking of rebates as Reporting Cost Adjustments.
Chapter 12, "Sales Miscellaneous," describes enhancements made to the CINCH Sales processes.
Chapter 13, "XML Identifiers," describes the changes made to support the setup of XML Identifiers within Cinch.
