How to Create Required Fields in Ticket Entry

You can set fields to be required in Ticket entry to ensure that a ticket doesn’t print without the information that you want. The most common use it to ensure grades are on the ticket i.e. test weight, moisture, damage etc.

To do this this go to One > Setup Information > Workstation Information > Required.

You can scroll through the list and make items required. Switch the “O” to the “R”. Click save. When you reopen ticket entry it will show the required fields for a ticket to be complete in red.

In the example below I made the “Test Weight” a required field. This will prevent a ticket from printing if that field isn’t filled out.

One > Setup Information > Workstation Information > Required

Switched the “O” to “R” for both inbound and outbound and clicked saved.

Reopened ticket entry and now “Test Weight” is in red meaning it is a required field.
