Hrvyst Hedge - Wash or cancel a contract with fees associated to the cancellation

Hrvyst Hedge allows standard cancelation of contract but there are situations where fees have associated that need to be generated at the time of cancelation.

 Instructions

When you know fees are needed to be associated at time of cancellation.

Option 1 - Always cancel in AGRIS and never cancel in Hrvyst.

1. Pro’s - Standard process and consistency.

2. Con’s - Existing contracts are not updated in Hrvyst

Option 2 - Special rules when needing fees to be associated with the cancellation.

1. Cancel in Hrvyst only when settlement is NOT necessary.

2. Create an off-setting contract in Hrvyst when settlement is necessary. (DO NOT CANCEL the contract)

   1. Create AGRIS direct haul tickets and apply to the purchase and sales contracts and associate fees

   2. Create an AGRIS delivery sheet and settlement to assess the required fees to the trade partner.

      1. This approach allows a very clear and clean audit of when fees were assessed.
