How to Apply a Software Update

In this article, we will go over how to apply a software update.

Instructions

Download the software update from our FTP site. FTP.Culturatech.com/login.
Go to your downloads and extract the folder containing the update.
Copy the extracted folder and place under the Agrisdist directory on the Database server.
Right click the Setup.exe and go to properties. Make sure to check the box that says Unblock and if there is not box the file is already unblocked continue to step 5.
Right click the setup.exe file again and press run as administrator
Press ok on the prompt “ Apply Software Updated X to Agris
Wait for the command prompts to run until pop up “ Software update has been applied” and press ok.
Go to every workstation that has Agris installed and follow steps 1-7 to apply the software update.

Be sure to do a restart of the machine after applying any software update for it to take affect.
