Ability to edit first voucher number (AGS-4611)

Reduce time and effort to correct vouchers entered without a number in the stock addition process.

Details:

Voucher Maintenance, edit voucher, has been enhanced to allow qualified users to edit an item voucher's first voucher number. 

• Normally, it is not necessary to edit the first voucher number. 

• In cases where the first voucher number was not recorded during stock addition post process, it becomes necessary to manually assign the first voucher number in order to reverse the voucher. 

Editing first voucher number is a secured option under Voucher Maintenance.  Minimum security level is six.  

First voucher number is displayed (view only) on the bottom left of Edit Voucher Maintenance screen 2 of 2.  It is only displayed for item vouchers.  Users with access rights press ALT-E keys to enable the first voucher number field for editing. 

Navigation - Setup: 

Customize > System Security > Select > 4) Edit Security Levels > ACP - Voucher Maintenance - Administrative Access (Alt-E).

Set this to 6) Yes.
