Graphical Report Designer

Overview

Use this job aid to design a graphical report in AgroGuide.  

To use graphical report designer:

  1. From the toolbar, Select AGY for AgroGuide.

  2. From the AgroGuide menu, select Report Manager and select a Report to modify. Note: The example will be for all reports in AgroGuide.

  3. Select Report Writer Features.

  4. Select the Standard Report To Default From You will notice the next few report writer screens are similar to the current AGRIS Report Manager screens you may use for defining user reports.

  5. Select the Sort Levels desired on the report.  You may select and sort up to 5 fields.

  6. Enter any default ranges you would want for the user-defined report.  

  7. Enter any default values you would want to select by for the report   This is the last screen you would recognize from the current AGRIS Report Manager.  The next screen is the Graphical Report Designer.  

  8. This is the design screen with the standard report template shown.

  9. Select the Preview Tab and see the report as is or with any changes you have made to the design screen.

  10. Select fields to add to the report from the Fields window on the right  (The Formula_Total_Cost field has been dragged to the Group Header 1 section).

  11. Move any fields to the desired locations.

  12. Add Labels for the fields that have been added.

  13. For each field on the report, you can optionally choose your desired font, font size, font color, and other formatting characteristics.

  14. Select the Preview tab to view how your changes look as a finished report.

  15. Save your changes for the user-defined report.
