If Data Is Not Showing in MyGrower

Verify that Web Services is running:

  1. On your server desktop, press Windows + R combination, to open the Run window

    1. Type services.msc and hit enter

  2. Locate AGRIS Web Services and make sure the service is running. If it's not, right click it then click Start

  3. You should be able to refresh MyGrower after a minute, or log off and log back in to see the data again

Proper setup for AGRIS Web Services to ensure it restarts correctly:

  1. On your server desktop, press Windows + R combination, to open the Run window

    1. Type services.msc and hit enter

  2. Locate AGRIS Web Services and right click it, then click on Properties

    1. Ensure Startup type is set to Automatic (Delayed Start)

  3. Then click on Recovery tab at the top

    1. Ensure the first, second, and subsequent failure fields are set to Restart the Service

  4. Once the above two steps are completed, click Apply, then Ok

    1. And if the Service is not running, go ahead and right click and hit Start.

  

   

Ensure that database names have not changed:

  1. If an AGRIS update was recently completed and PSQL was uninstalled, check to see that database names have not changed. When upgrading, if PSQL or Zen Server does need to be uninstalled for some reason, then the dbnames.cfg file should be copied out and copied back in after the fact.
