How to Change a Commodity Code

You will need to have everybody out of the dataset when performing this.

It is also highly recommended to make a backup of the dataset prior to running this. This procedure goes back and updates all history related to this commodity, so it will take some time to run.

Under File Maintenance, there is an option to "Change Commodity Code" (this will allow you to change up to 10 commodity codes at one time)

In the first field, enter the original code, then enter the code that you wish to change it to
