How To Print Address Labels from Agris

You are able to print address labels using Avery 5160 labels. NOTE: I suggest performing a test run before printing all of your labels. Go through steps 1-5 using a small number of name ID's (Maybe use the first 10) and print to regular paper. This will allow you to hold it up to the labels and check your printer alignment, and the text size and font. If changes need to be made to the text, I have included those directions in this document.

Step-by-step guide

  1. Go to NAM>Report Manager>Name/Address Reports

  2. Select #1 Print Standard Reports

  3. Select Report ID 860, Name/Address Mail Label - Avery 5160 (Graphic)

  4. Enter your parameters. If you want only customers, enter that name ID type for beginning and ending. Entering nothing in these screens will print a label for every name id in the system.

  5. Select your printer and number of copies you wish and hit OK

  6. As you notice, there is no form selection. If you wish to make changes to the text, such as font, size, color, etc. You will need to create a user defined report and adjust the form. Go into NAM>Report Manager>Name/Address Reports

  7. This time you will select Report Writer Features.

  8. If you have no User Defined reports in NAM, it will ask if you wish to create a new one from an existing report, select yes.

  9. If you do already have user defined reports, hit the Insert button at the bottom of the list. It will ask if you want to default from standard or user defined, select standard.

  10. Select Report ID 860 Name/Address Mail Label - Avery 5160 (Graphic)

  11. You do not want to make any changes to how the report is ran, you only want to change how it is printed, so just hit OK until you get to the form designer.

  12. Click on the thick vertical bar and drag it to the left so you can read the text in the bottom right-hand corner.

  13. Click on the first line of your address label named Name_Reversed.

  14. In the right hand bottom column the settings will change and you now see font and size. Change to the size you wish. You will need to do this will all the Address lines.

  15. When you see a box like this next to a field, that means you can open up a window with options in it. You can also just type the text size you wish.

  16. Hit Save. Then hit the preview tab to see a preview before backing all the way out and running the report. Adjust size as needed. (Note: I suggest performing a test run before running all of your labels as described at the top of the page.)
