Journal Entries

Use the Journal Entries option for Manual Journal Entries. This option posts type 1 for manual and type 6 for reverse next journal entries into the general ledger. Chose Standard Journal Entries to post type 8 for standard journal entries into the general ledger. Standard journal entries are created through an option listed on the Maintenance Options menu. Choose Reverse Journal Entries. This option generates and posts type 4 for current reverse and type 5 for prior reverse journal entries to off-set journal entries from the current or previous journal period.
