Setting up Equipment - Roles

Overview

Use this job aid to set up new equipment roles.

To set up equipment roles:

1. From the Toolbar select AGY for AgroGuide.

2. From the AgroGuide  menu, select General Setup, and then select Equipment -Roles.

3. Click on the new button, at the bottom of the window, to create a new equipment role.

4. In the Name box, type in the name of the new equipment role.

5. In the Standard box, use the drop down box to select a standard equipment role.  This is hard coded and the new equipment role needs to fall into a standard equipment role.

6. In the note box, type in notes that are associated with the new equipment role.  These notes do not print anywhere.

7. Mark the active checkbox, if the equipment roles is active.  There is no delete in equipment roles so un-check the active checkbox to make the equipment role inactive.  

8. Click Apply, to save changes and create or modify name Id roles.

9. Click OK, to save all changes in the Name Id roles
