Setting up Name Id - Roles

Overview

Use this job aid to setup name id roles used in assigning the Name Id Role/License.  This setup must be done first before assigning the Name Id to roles and/ or licenses.

To create name id - roles:

1.  From the Toolbar, click AGY for AgroGuide.

2.  From the AgroGuide window, select General Setup, and then select Name Id - Roles.

3. To Create a new role, select the button New at the bottom of the window.

4. In the Name: box, type in the Name of the role.  Example: Applicator.

5. In the Standard: box, select from the drop down box a list of hard coded standard name id roles.  You must assign a standard role to the new role created.

6. Mark the active checkbox, if the role is active.

7. Click Apply, to save changes and create or modify name id roles.

8. Click OK, to save all changes in the Name Id roles.
