Setting Up New Equipment Users

Companies that have users access their EMI equipment and the user RDP’s to the equipment App Server, will need to enable permissions for the user, by selecting “Ports” in your RDP Setup.

1. Open Remote Desktop Connection (RDP) application from Windows

2. Select Show Options

3. Select Local Resources tab

4. Select the More button under Local Devices and Resources

5. Mark the Port checkbox

6. Select OK to apply changes

NOTE: When the “Port” checkbox is not selected, the user will receive the following error: "Insufficient data from scale"
