Setting Tab Order for AGRIS Screens

Did you know that you can change the order that the curser moves in when you hit TAB?

The benefits are:

Reduce the number of key strokes or switching between mouse and keyboard.

Things to be aware of:

The preferences are saved by workstation, but if you signed in with a group station id, you will most likely change preferences for the group.

How to Set Tab Preferences

When you see the gears icon in the bottom left corner, you can adjust preferences.

We will use contract entry screen for an example, but there are many other screens you can do the same thing.

Click on the gears and it opens another window. There you will click on Edit Tab Order Preferences.

It will pop the window open with the tab order numbered. You can change the order by changing the number. If you do not want TAB to land on a field, you can skip it by making it a negative number. F9 will reset it to defaults, F10 to Save and F11 to cancel.
