Delivery Tickets

Delivery tickets are optional transactions and you may record a sale without them. Delivery Ticket Entry can be an intermediate step between Sales Order Entry and Invoice Entry. Delivery tickets reduce inventory on hand, but does not create a sale. Delivery tickets can be applied to line items on existing sales orders, or created without sales orders. Line items on invoices can be applied directly to line items on sales orders, or to line items on delivery tickets. Sales Order Entry or Delivery Ticket Entry are not required for Invoice Entry. An application is the connection of one transaction to another transaction. A transaction is said to be "applied" to another transaction when the connection is made.

Use the Delivery Ticket option to create, print, and reverse delivery tickets.
