Setting up the Name Id Assign Role/License

Overview

Use this job aid to assign Name Id Roles and Licenses.  The Name Id needs to be setup on the business system in Name/Address.

To assign name id role/license:

1. From the Toolbar, click AGY for AgroGuide.

2. From the AgroGuide window, select General Setup, and then Name Id - Role/License.

3. In the Name Id box, using the spy glass , to search for the Namd Id to assign the role/license.  If you know what the name Id code is, you may also type it in the box.  

4. Mark the Name Id Roles that will be associated with the Name Id.

5. In the Note box, make any notes to be associated with the Name Id.  These notes do not print any place.

6. Mark Active checkbox to make this name Id active.

7. Mark the Internal checkbox if the Name Id is for Internal use.

8. To enter in the License Type, Select the drop down arrow and select the License Type.

9. To select the Name Id Role, Select the drop down arrow and select the Name Id Role.

10. To select the State, Select the drop down arrow and select the State.

11. To select the County, Select the drop down arrow and select the County.

12. Enter in the License Number.  This field can be up 19 character, with alpha and numerics and symbols. Example: KS-12314564

13. Enter in the Expiration Date by using the calendar icon or typing in the date.

14. If the Name Id is associated with more than one Role and/License, enter in another line.

15. Click Apply,  to Save changes and then add another Name Id.

16. Click OK, to save all changes in the Assign Name Id Role/License.
