How To Have AGRIS Log Users Out When Inactive

Are you having a problem with users forgetting to logout of AGRIS when they leave for the day? You can set a time in which to allow a user to be inactive, then have the system log them out.

Go to Maintenance>Dataset Maintenance

Select your dataset

On the first screen of the dataset there is a field that you can use to limit the minutes a user can be idle.

If you only want to limit durring non-operational hours, you can set the time range you want to limit.

The time must be in military time. For example, if you are limiting from 9:00 PM to 5:00 am you would enter it as 2100 to 0500.

If this does not fix your problem, or if files are still being held open after a user is out of the system, this will require a case with AGRIS Support to investigate.
