Proceres Weigh Only Ticket Tracking [Quick Tip]
It is assumed the person setting this process up knows basic Agris Setup functions
Have you found yourself wanting to weigh products, ingredients, or feed, but you did not want it to affect your Daily Position Report (DPR)? There is a way through AGRIS/oneWeigh to do this that will not impact your production ticket sequence or the DPR.
SETUP & FUNCTIONALITY
An Inactive Commodity is setup in the GRN package. This will cause the system to use control numbers and not production ticket numbers. The Export Definition will be setup so that the Inactive Commodity will be saved to a file specifically for that commodity, and it will not affect the DPR. This will allow ticket reports to be run from the oneWeigh computers.
oneWeigh Setup – Step One
In this example we will be setting up inbound feed ingredients.
Go to: GRN>Commodity Tables>Commodity Codes>1) Add A New Commodity
Add a new Commodity and set to Inactive
Note: All discounts were removed in this example – this is up to the business to decide on their process.
oneWeigh Setup – Step two
Set the system to view Inactive Commodities
Go to: ONE>Setup Information>Workstation Information>Commodity/Discounts Tab
Make sure that Hide Inactive Commodities is unchecked.
oneWeigh Setup – Step three
Set up the Ticket Export – this is what keeps the tickets from affecting the DPR.
Go to: ONE>Setup Information>Workstation Information>Export Tab
Select Use Advanced Exports
When the menu opens select “ADD”
Set Export to detail to match the screen shot below
NOTE: It is critical that the file name is not the same as the original file name.
Make sure the Ingred file is the first line of the Export Definition.
oneWeigh Setup – Step four
Ticket number control
Ticket numbers will be control numbers. These numbers can be changed
from the main AGRIS screen. Go to:
Customize>Document Numbers>Choose the needed control ticket. This screen shows the Inbound and Outbound Control Tickets. Set your numbering sequence.
