In Process Status (I) for Journalized SJI Periods

Problem:

While running the “Create SJI Entries” something happened and the process was halted.

Now, when you go to run your SJI Entries again, the package is greyed out.

When you go back to your SJI periods, you see an I (In Process) on that packages column.

How do you fix this?

  1. Go through the process of voiding the SJI entry, to clear temporary files.
SJI > Maintain System Entries > void SJI entry > highlight the package > Select.

  2. Mark package as NO for Journalized?
SJI > Select SJI Period > Highlight period > Alt-M to open ALL fields > mark field as N for journalized.
Note that you must have security to use this feature.

  3. Re-run your SJI’s
Verify that the entry does not have duplicated line items.
You would see line 01-02-03…then line 01-02-03-04-05, etc. if it is duplicated.
if you find this in the final entry created, go through the void process again.
    (not step 2)
    re-run SJI again.
