Add access to an additional dataset for an agent

This article shows you how to add a new dataset to the Agent Web Service.

 Instructions

THIS WILL NEED TO BE DONE IN THE SERVER FOLDER AS WELL AS THE SMART CLIENT FOLDER

1. Open Agris and enter the dataset you wish to add.

2. Navigate to Help > About Agris > Print > Option 4 for Screen

3. Copy the Current Actian Database Number (A*****************) and paste it in a wordpad document.

4. Navigate to Cultura folder (Usually in C: folder) > Server or Smart Client > DBConnections.config and open this file with wordpad or any other text editor.

5. Copy the lines between the two <DBconnection> fields:

• Paste them in between the last 2 </DBconnections> fields

Open

• Change the Dataset to the new dataset you wish to add, and change the Database Name to the Actian Database Number that you originally copied.

• Save the document and close.
