Restart Cinch Agent

Problem

Solution

  1. Log on to the Cinch Application server as a user with administrator access.

  2. Open Services and find the CINCH Agent.

  3. Stop the service

    1. Select or highlight the service CINCH Agent

    2. Refresh using the button above

    3. Stop the service

      1.  

  4. If you receive the following error please now open the task manager, find the agent and force the stop of the agent.

    1. Navigate to the lower windows bar and right click…

      1. Select Task Manager

       

    2. Now find the Agent in the open tasks.

    3. Once the task manager opens sort by memory used and find the following operation.

      1. (Modularis web service host)

      2. Select the Triangle to confirm this is the correct agent.

        1.  

Once confirmed this is the correct entry. Right-click and end task.
