Setting up Other Revenue Sources

Overview

Use this job aid to perform maintenance activities on user-defined revenue codes.  These user-defined codes display on the Financial Analysis window of the Crop Planning window and provide opportunity to add the appropriate revenue to the crop plan.   Examples:  USDA payments, insurance payments, hunting lease payments.

To setup other revenue sources:

  1. From the toolbar, Select AGY for AgroGuide.

  2. From the AgroGuide menu, select Crop Plan Setup, select Recommendation, and then select Other Revenue Sources to display the Revenue Opportunity Maintenance window.

  3. In the Revenue Opportunity Code column, type the code for the operation, up to 15 characters.

  4. In the Revenue Opportunity Name column, type the descriptive name to associate with this operation.

  5. Mark the Is Active check box to make the operation available within AgroGuide

  6. Click Ok to save changes and go back to the main menu, or click Apply and save changes and stay within the active window.
