Setting up Crop - Usage

Overview

Use this job aid for Crop Use setup which is described as how the crop is to be used. Examples of crop use include feed and silage. You must specify the name, and optionally provide a description, of crop use. You can create new crop use options, modify existing crop use options, or inactivate a crop use option.

To create crop usage:

  1. From the Toolbar select AGY for AgroGuide.

  2. From the AgroGuide  menu, select Crop Plan Setup, and then select Crop Usage.

  3. In the Crop Usage Type Code, type in the usage code.  Example: Feed.

  4. In the Crop Usage Type Name, type in the usage description.  This may be the same as the usage type code.

  5. Un-check Is Active to inactive the usage type.

  6. Click Apply to save changes and add another usage type.

  7. Click OK to save all changes and return to the Crop Plan setup.
