Moving from PSQL to MSSQL - Do I need to purchase the latest version of PSQL before Migrating

When migrating from PSQL to MSSQL the common question sometimes is do I need to purchase more Pervasive licenses.

What if our company is on an older version of PSQL that is no longer supported?   Example PSQL10.    

There are low cost alternatives to moving your data with a supported version of PSQL.  

Possible outcomes.

1. Trial license if your migration requirements are less than a total of 30 days. 
2. Purchase a single license to facilitate a successful migration.  (low cost)
