Drawing Field Boundaries

Use this job aid to draw field boundaries.

From the toolbar, Select AGY for AgroGuide.
From the AgroGuide menu, select AgroGuide.
In the Client box, use the lookup to select a Client.
Select the Field in the AgroGuide Tree window that needs the boundary. Note: Be sure that the Farm/Field are setup in the AgroGuide Tree window prior to drawing the boundary.
Select the Map Tab.
Select the Boundary Editor icon, then select Boundary Editor.
Use the Zoom in on the map , Zoom Out, and Pan the map buttons to navigate to and locate the correct image for the field. Be sure so sufficiently zoom in on the area to create a more accurate boundary.
Select Draw a Boundary Region icon , then select Draw a Boundary Region.
Line up the cross hairs to any point on the boundary and click once with the mouse. This will be the starting point. Move the mouse around the field and with each click of the mouse, a vertex will be added. When the field outline has been created, double click the mouse to lock in the end point which will form the boundary. Any time prior to double clicking, pressing Esc on the keyboard will start the process over.
Click Apply to save the Boundary.
