How to Drive Cost and Sales to another Location

PROBLEM:

How can you pull inventory from one location but have the Sales and Cost of Sales hit another location without having to transfer the inventory to that location first?

ANSWER:

There are two options:

1. Setup a Formulated inventory item to sell at the location where you want the sale and cost of sale to post.

   1. Enter the component item so that it comes from the location where you want the stock relieved from.

2. Use the Activity Location code on the delivery ticket/invoice to control the cost and sales location.
