How to transfer grain from one account to another?

Note: This for Grain that is already in a storage position and on a delivery sheet. You will not have access to the following option until it is on a Delivery sheet.

1. Go to Settlements-Apply from storage

2. Enter in commodity, name id (Transferring from), and location
   
   

   Open

   

3. Choose the application/position of the grain you want to transfer (Open storage, Delayed Price, Grain Bank, and Warehouse receipt)
   
   

   Open

   

4. Choose the delivery sheet application you want to transfer or put in a quantity you want to transfer (if the delivery sheet choice is left blank and a quantity is entered, it will start pulling the quantity from the first delivery sheet application)
   
   

5. If you want to use a portion of a certain application, select the application & leave the quantity field blank  (the quantity entry will come on the next screen)

6. Choose the option to Transfer ownership
   
   

7. You will be prompted for a name id  (this is the Transfer To Name Id)
   
   

8. Edit the quantity to be transferred to the new name id. Make any changes, if needed.
   
   

    

9. The next screen gives you the opportunity to put a different storage table on the grain. If you want to keep it the same, just leave it blank and hit ok.

Note: The only good way to track Transfers of Ownership is to print the delivery sheet immediately after transferring ownership.

1. Go to Settlements-Produce a delivery sheet
   
   

2. Put in Transfer from name id, commodity, location, and the Reprint sheet number

3. Choose option to print delivery sheet only
   
   

4. Print out delivery sheet

5. This gives you the original name id & delivery sheet number
   
   

This is the best way to keep track of transfers. The delivery sheet shows the split from name Id and the apply name id, it shows where the bushels are applied now.
