AGRIS Customer Documentation
Notes on Reversing
Overview
When going through the process of reversing a settlement it is important to keep in mind what the changes are that need to be made and what the effect is. If you cut a check to the customer on the wrong contract for instance, you will need to reverse the settlement and then reverse the application so you can move the tickets to the correct contract.
Effect of Reversing a Settlement
Reversing a settlement moves the settlement from paid to unpaid and takes the check out of Bank if it was a purchase.
Effect of Reversing a Delivery Sheet
There are two options here. The reverse delivery sheet option does not change applications of the tickets, it just removes the delivery sheet without removing the contract.
The second option, reverse applications, removes the tickets from the contract and sends the tickets back to their previous type, e.g. Open Storage or Hold.
