Reversing Delivery Sheets

Overview

Use this job aid to reverse a delivery sheet or delivery sheet applications. The tickets or delivery sheet can then be re-processed correctly. Reversing the applications sends tickets back to their previous type: Open Storage or Hold. Reversing the entire delivery sheet does not change the application. It removes the delivery sheet, but does not remove the tickets from the contract. For instance, if you have settled a contract and sent a check to the customer and customer comes back and indicates that the tickets should have been on a different contract, you will first have to reverse the settlement. This will move the grain from paid to unpaid and remove the check from BANK. Then you will need to reverse the applications (the process shown below) and apply to the correct contract.

To reverse delivery sheets or applications:

  1. From the Toolbar, click GRN for Commodity Management.

  2. From the Commodity menu, select Settlements, and then select Delivery Sheet Maintenance.

  3. From the Delivery Sheet Maintenance menu, select Reverse Delivery Sheets.

  4. In the Purchase/Sales box, type P for purchase, or type S for sales.

  5. In the Delivery Sheet box, click Lookup or type * and press Enter and then select the delivery sheet number that you want to reverse, type the delivery sheet number that you want to reverse.

  6. In the Location Code box, click Lookup or type * and press Enter, and then select the location code, or type the location code.

  7. Click OK.

  8. Select the delivery sheet application you want to reverse, or click Select All to select all applications, or press F8 to reverse the entire delivery sheet. Reversing the applications sends tickets back to their previous type: Open Storage or Hold. Reversing the entire delivery sheet does not change the application. It removes the delivery sheet, but does not remove the tickets from the contract.

  9. At the verification prompt, click OK to confirm the application to be reversed.
