EC=Sharing Violation on Arcserve activity log

The nightly backup job is showing incomplete due to warnings.  The activity log within Arcserve Manager shows EC sharing violation warnings in yellow. 

  • These warnings often indicate a user left a machine logged into AGRIS

  • The backup often completes successfully even when these warnings appear

  • To correct this problem make sure no one is logged into AGRIS when running a backup
