Error: InstallShield 1608 Encountered while Installing/Upgrading AGRIS

1608:  Unable to create InstallDriver instance
Return code: -2147024891

Uninstall AGRIS from the machine:

1. (Start - [Settings] - Control Panel - Add or Remove Programs - AGRIS - Change/Remove - Remove - Next)

2. Reinstall the correct Version and Service Pack

3. Refer to the AGRIS Installation Documentation (located on the installation CD in the Docs folder) for help with reinstalling AGRIS. 

If errors are encountered uninstalling AGRIS, perform the following steps:

1. Download and install the attached Windows Installer Cleanup Utility (msicuu2.exe). 

2. After it installs, go to Start - Programs - Windows Install Clean Up.   

3. Click on the AGRIS entry and then click Remove. 

4. After it completes, click Exit to close the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility.

At this point, AGRIS will no longer show up as an installed program on the computer.  It should now be possible to do a full install of AGRIS and then apply a Service Pack if necessary.
