Basic #0: Unable to Connect to Server( DTO Error: Permission Error)

 Problem

Whenever we launch Agris we get Basic #0: Unable to connect to server (DTO: Permission Error). This error is a sign that something is going on with the Padmin account.

 Solution

If you are encountering the error above, we need to check the Padmin account.

  1. Go to the Database Server and search for Computer Management.

  2. Open Computer Management and go into Local Users and Groups and go into users

  3. Find the user Padmin. Right click and go to properties.

  4. Ensure the account is not disabled or locked out. If so, uncheck the box so Padmin is no longer disabled/locked out

  5. Apply the settings and launch Agris on a workstation.

  6. If still encountering error call Agris Support (1-800-366-2474)
