How to Apply to a Future Contract

In GRN>Setup Information>Contract Information>Screen 2, there is a setting that lets you choose how far into the future you'd like to view contract delivery dates when applying tickets.

This setting will limit the contract that will show on this screen when applying tickets, based on delivery date.

So in this scenario, the producer has a contract with a delivery date of 8/1/25, but today’s date is 6/24/25. Since the position date, plus 30 days is not yet 8/1, you will not get contracts to highlight.

You can select apply to Open Contract and you will get nothing found, hit ok.

You will see there is a delivery end date in the parameters. You can either move it to a further date or blank it out to see all of the contracts the producer has.

Here, I blanked it out, so I can see the contract that has a delivery date of 8/1/25 and also one for fall delivery.

You can select the contract that is needed and can continue applying as normal.
