Farm and Field Options (Non AGY)
New Farm/Field Options – AGRIS 10.1.1 and Higher
Overview:
For Non AgroGuide customers the Farm/Field project added the functionality to setup Farm/Fields on the Name and Address record. If AgroGuide is initialized the user should set up the Farm/Field in AgroGuide and the system can then be synced with Name and Address.
The Farm/Fields will now be available in the commodity system.
Getting Started:
New Setup Option has been added in Name and Address General Setup for Farm/Field.
Navigation: NAM – Setup Information – General Information
Two new security options:
Navigation: Customize – System Security – Edit Security
NAM - General Options – Ability to Import Farm/Field Info
NAM – View/Edit Name – Farm / Field – Controls both Name and Address Farm/Field setup and the ability to setup on the fly in Ticket Entry
GRN
GRN>Setup Information>Transportation Modes>Select Truck>Hit Next>Change Farm/Field to a 1 allowing the field to be displayed and entry optional. Repeat for any other transportation modes you wish to use Farm/Field on.

ONE > Setup Information > Workstation Information > General Tab > Ticket Remark Fields>use the drop downs for the remarks to select Farm/Field,
Now to Required button > Set the Farm/Field to be optional or required on Inbound tickets, or if you setup the requirement on the truck in GRAIN setup, use the processing options 3 to check-mark "use transportation mode required fields".
Process Change:
Name and Address:
Name and Address Maintenance
Navigation: NAM – Name and Address – Name and Address Maintenance
Select: Allows user to Edit Customer Farm/Field Information
Each farm/field will has the ability to be associated with one of the 99 Ticket Split Groups or one of the 9 Settlement Split Groups already available in the Name and Address system.
An Active or Inactive Status is also included. If Farm/Field is Inactive it will not be available to select on a transaction.
Insert: Allows user to enter a new Farm/Field - *same information as above with Select
Delete: Allows user to Delete a Farm/Field - *will not allow to Delete if used on a transaction
Print: Ability to Print Farm/Field Information for this customer
The following other Name and Address features have been updated:
Change Name Id module to support farm/field tables
Combine Name Id module to support farm/field tables
Delete Name Id module to support farm/field tables
Purge Name Id module to support farm/field tables
Search Grid: One search grid that includes Farm Code, Field Code, Farm Name, Field Name. Selecting an item in the list will select both the farm and the field. User's preferences govern whether they type the farm name or the field name, by default, to do the auto-complete keystroke-by-keystroke selection.
Note: Will not have ability to combine Farm / Field will just have to change the ones that are incorrect
Ability to maintain farm and field in Name/ Address with sync to AgroGuide
A new AgroGuide Sync process has been added to the Name and Address Maintenance Farm/Field
Navigation: NAM > Name and Address Maintenance > View/Edit Name ID > Farm/Field
The Sync To AGY will be done on each Name ID. The Ticket/Settlement Splits will need to be added in the Name and Address, after the Sync to AGY.
DTR
NAM – DTR updated to include Farm/Field Setup.
Navigation: DTR – Setup Site Transfer – Name/Address System
Commodity
The following areas of GRN have been updated to include Farm/Field for Inbound commodity transactions:
Ability to choose Farm/Field at Ticket Entry
Navigation: GRN > Shipments > Ticket Entry
When selecting a Farm/Field with a Ticket Split that ticket split will be applied.
Ability to choose Farm/Field Cross Country Ticket Entry
Navigation: GRN > Shipments > Cross Country Ticket Entry
Same pop up to select Farm/Field as in Ticket Entry.
Ticket Splits apply in Cross Country Ticket Entry like they do inTicket Entry.
Farm/Field will be displayed in the following Ticket Inquiries:
View Ticket
Edit Ticket
Weight/Grade Certificates
Actual Freight Information
Edit Multiple Tickets
Customer Summary

Farm/Field has been added to the following Filter Screens:
Ticket search
Apply From Hold
Produce A Delivery Sheet
Create Settlement

Farm / Field is available on the Ticket Grid
Ability to Edit Producer – Farm\Field
A warning is provided if the ticket has been split and the new farm/field split group does not match the ticket split group originally selected. It does not update the split applications when the split group is changed. It just gives a warning.

The Farm/Field cannot be changed in the following scenario:
When Delivery sheet applications are combined based on farm/field
If combined on a delivery sheet with other tickets of the same farm/field – cannot change on the ticket
To avoid this, you would need to use one-ticket-per-delivery-sheet-application in order to change it after the delivery sheet was created
Apply From Hold
Navigation: GRN > Shipments > Apply Tickets from Hold > Group All Tickets Together
Tickets with different split groups cannot be grouped together when Applying from Hold.
Example: Ticket 70 is split group 1 and 71 is split group 2
Delivery Sheets
Delivery sheet table expanded to include Farm/Field
Ability to Display Farm\Field in Delivery Sheet Maintenance
Navigation: GR N> Settlement > Delivery Sheet Maintenance > Create/Edit Delivery Sheet
Settlements
Navigation: GRN > Settlements > Produce a Settlement
If the producer id on the first ticket of the settlement is the same as the settlement id, the settlement will be split using the settlement split group on the farm/field of that first ticket.
Reports / Forms
The following changes have been made for Ticket and Delivery Sheet reports:
Ability to Filter by Farm/Field
Ability to Subtotal / Sort by Farm/Field
Farm/Field Available to Print on Reports
*Note: No standard reports were updated to include Farm/Field
Proof of Yield Report Updated to include Farm/Field Filter and the ability to Sort/Subtotal
Subtotal By:
1 = Farm Allows to subtotal at the Farm level
Example: All of Farm 2, no Field Details
2 = Field Allows to subtotal at the Farm/Field level
Example: Is all of Farm 2, subtotaled by the Field 1 and Home Place
0 = No Farm / Field detail, same as current print prior to Farm/Field improvement
Ticket Forms
Farm/Field has been added as an available field on ticket forms.
The Farm/Field has been added to the ticket form xml. No standard forms will be updated to include the farm/field. User will need to add a user defined form to include the farm/field.
Delivery Sheet Forms
Farm/Field has been added as an available field on delivery sheet forms.
The Farm/Field has been added to the delivery sheet form xml. No standard forms will be updated to include the farm/field. User will need to add a user defined form to include the farm/field.
Settlement Forms
Farm/Field has been added as an available field on settlement forms for each delivery sheet line.
The Farm/Field has been added to the settlement form xml. No standard forms will be updated to include the farm/field. User will need to add a user defined form to include the farm/field.
Imports/Exports
A new Import has been added for Farm/Field.
A new standard Farm/Field export has been added.
Navigation: NAM > Report Manager > Advanced Reports
Web Services
The following Web Services Messages have been updated to include Farm/Field:
Ticket Extracts
Delivery Sheet extracts
Settlement extracts * delivery sheet detail
A new Name and Address Farm/Field Extract has been added.
DRS
DRS has been updated to include the Farm/Field information with the Name/Address.
