Invalid Input: Please Restart Cultura Agris Sys License Service and Restart Agris

 Problem

When opening Agris and going into a menu option I get a Invalid Input error.

 

 Solution

  1. Find where the Cultura Agris Sys license service is hosted and being ran from. ( This will most likely be the Database server)

  2. HIghlight the service, right click and go to properties

  3. Go to the logon tab next to general and check the Log on as: Configure the service “Log on as” and set to This account. (Be sure that the Log On Account has full permissions to the AGRIS Datapath and all its subfolders.)

  4. Apply the setting and press ok and restart the license service. Launch Agris and verify that corrected the issue.

  5. If still receiving the error after steps 1-4 ensure that you have the same Agris and software update version as the Server. To view go to Help- About. If on the server it shows 23.0.6 and on any workstation it shows 23.0.0 that means its missing su6. Apply software update 6 to to get past error.
